The Winner VFW Post 4674 and auxiliary recently presented the Winner Volunteer Fire Department with homemade cookies in recognition of this group of 30 volunteers who serve as first responders. These volunteers have an impressive record in keeping the community safe and helping other departments such as the Tripp County Ambulance, Winner police department and Tripp County Sheriff when a call comes in for help. The fire department will readily answer the call for assistance from other fire departments.
