Baseball Team Shuts Out Platte

stm game drew demers

Winner/Colome baseball team shut out Platte 9-0 last Wednesday.

“This was a special and satisfying win as it clinched home field advantage for us throughout the playoffs,” said coach Drew Weber. “This has been a goal of ours the past few years as it is always tough to drive out to Rapid City and try and beat St. Thomas More on their field like we have done in the past. Leahy Bowl is such a great spot for playoff baseball and I know we’ll get huge crowds that other towns can’t compete with.”
