Winner High School boys basketball team closed out the regular season with an 83-56 victory over Crow Creek on Feb. 23.
The Warriors ended the regular season with a 19-1 record. The only loss was to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton.
“We are proud of our student athletes as they went on the road and finished the regular season on a high note,” said coach Brett Gardner.
With the victory, the Warriors were able to capture the Big Dakota Conference championship outright. This is only the fourth time in school history of winning the conference outright. The other years were in 1986, 2002 and 2012.
