Terren started wrestling in Winner with the AAU program under coach Glen Novotny. Terren was in kindergarten in Winner when he placed third at the state tournament.
With four Gillette Camels teammates, the 195-pounder traveled to Virginia Beach, Virginia, for the 27th Annual National High School Coaches Association Wrestling Championships. The Freshmen finished as a national runner-up on Sunday.
