As the post season draws near, the Colome Cowboys defeated Dakota Christian 60-54 on Friday in Colome.
The Cowboys were led in scoring by Reed Harter with 31 points followed by Holden Thieman with 12 and Kelly O’Bryan with 10.
“It was really a good win for our boys with the postseason right around the corner,” said coach Drew Weber. “Dakota Christian starts three guys over 6-4 and we knew we’d have to play very physical if we were going to be able to keep them off he boards and out of the paint. We were able to do a good job of denying their big post position, but they ended up shooting 64 percent from the 3 point line so it was kind of a catch 22 for us,” said Weber.
