Colome ended White River’s reign at the Jones County Tournament. Saturday in the championship game Colome defeated White River 52-38.
Kelly O’Bryan led Colome with 18 points and was named the MVP of the tournament. He was also named to the all-tournament first team. Jackson Kinzer added 11 points. Holden Thieman had 9 points and six rebounds. In this game, Thieman surpassed the 1,000 career points. He won the Pete Kerns sportsmanship award and was on the all tournament team.
Kelly O’Bryan and Kolton Salonen each pulled down 5 rebounds.
O’Bryan scored 25 points as Colome defeated Stanley County 63-53 Friday in the Jones County Tournament. With the victory Colome advanced to the championship. Holden Thieman added 13 points and Salonen added 12.
Colome pulled down 19 rebounds and were led with 4 each by Salonen and O’Bryan.
Colome defeated Bennett County 70-34 in the opening round of the Jones County Tournament in Murdo on Jan. 12.
Kolton Salonen led Colome with 15 points and Kelly O’Bryan added 14.
Salonen pulled down 7 rebounds, Holden Thieman and Jackson Kinzer had 6 each and Beau Bertram, 5.
