Excitement is building as members of the Winner High School football team look to the start of the 2015 season. The Warriors open the season at home on Aug. 28 when they host Mobridge/Pollock. The game will start at 7 p.m.
There are 53 athletes out for football. This include five seniors, 19 juniors, 13 sophomores and 15 freshmen.
The five seniors on the team are Lattrell Terkildsen, Chase Watson, Riley Frazier, Windsor Barry and Cameron Biggins.
The Warriors have a strong group of lettermen returning. They include: Zach Lapsley, Ty Bolton, Jayden Schroeder, Nathan Smither, Riley Calhoon, Carter Brickman, Dalton Baker, Matt Smither, Payton Antoine, Lattrell Terkildsen, Riley Frazier, Chase Kingsbury, Cameron Kuil, Kayleb Brozik, Levi McClanahan, Nick Lantz, Drew DeMers, Damien Bingen, Isaac Naasz, Chase Watson, Ryan Sherman, Krockett Krolikowski, Wyatt Ewing, Jordan Turgeon, John Kludt, Chet Bryan, Nick Blare, Avery Gilchrist, Justus Gregg, Tristan Watzel and Alex Schaeffer.
