Voters were deciding whether to increase the tax levy to 90 cents per $1,000 of valuation to go specifically for roads and bridges. There was a five-year cap on the tax levy.
If approved, it would have brought in $900,000 a year to be used for roads and bridges.
There was a 22 percent voter turnout in the election.
A total of 40 absentee ballots were cast.
The Tripp County Commissioners canvassed the ballots at the Sept. 26 meeting.
