Winner/Colome Legion baseball team was defeated by Parkston 10-4 Sunday.
Leading hitters were Ty Bolton and Riley Calhoon with 2 singles, Jackson Kinzer, Dalton Baker, Calvin Ringing Shield with a single.
Pitching were Carter Brickman threw 1 2/3 innings giving up 10 runs, 5 hits, 3 walks and 1 strikeout.
Levi McClanahan pitched 3 1/3 innings giving up no runs and no hits, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Ty Bolton pitched one scoreless inning.
“We had a pretty ugly second inning with a couple of errors and some missed calls that were the difference in the game,” said coach Drew Weber. “I thought Levi threw really well in relief and we hit the ball hard. It was nice to get some action for the kids that did not play club baseball and we were also able to move some kids around playing some new positions,” said Weber.
