Winner Area cross country girls took second place at the Scotland Invitational on Sept. 8. The Winner area boys took fourth place.
Leading the Lady Warriors was Chloe Bartels who placed third followed by Sam Schuyler, 6th; Aryn Meiners, 14th and Hayley Halverson, 27th.
In the girls JV race, Megan Blare placed 2nd and Katherine Jankauskas was 7th.
The Winner area varsity boys were led by Colby Curtis, 6th; Grant Winter, 21st; Dawson Phillips, 26th and Wyatt Turnquist, 32nd.
In the junior varsity boys race, Cohl Turnquist placed 25th.
