Winner Area girls cross country team won first place with a perfect score of 6 points at the Burke/South Central Invitational cross country meet on Thursday. Coach Jayd Schuyler says he is really proud of the girls. He says in the years he has been coaching the cross country team this is the first time the Lady Warriors have received a perfect score.
The varsity boys finished in 3rd place. The team was led by Colby Curtis, 3rd; Grant Winter, 11th; Dawson Phillips, 20th and Wyatt Turnquist, 25th.
