Winner High School competitive dance team took third place and the cheer team took fifth place at the Winner competitive cheer and dance invitational on Sept. 12.
Winner hosted several schools for invitational.
The Winner High School cheer team competed in Pierre on Saturday at the Pierre Invitational. “We competed against 8 double AA schools and 3 A schools. This is probably the hardest competition that we go to all year. Most of these programs have girls that are dedicated to just one sport at a time. Winner on the other hand shares girls between cheer, dance, volleyball and cross country,” said coach Val Ewing.
