The No. 1 rated Winner football team had another solid performance Friday night.
The Warriors shut out Redfield/Doland 54-0. The game ended at the half due to the mercy rule.
The Warriors scored 38 points in the first quarter on their way to the victory. This was Winner’s fifth shut out of the season.
It was senior night and the 18 seniors and parents were honored.
With a victory on Thursday, Winner will have the No. 1 seed and will assure home field advantage for all three playoff games.
The first round of the playoffs will be Tuesday, Oct. 25 and the game will be in Winner. The opponent is not yet known.
“We have to take care of business this week to get ready for the playoffs,” said Aaker.
