Riley Shippy and Rhet Bertram were players to keep an eye on when watching the Colome Cowboys who went 1-7 in 2019.
Because of their prowess on the football field, the duo was named to the Great Plains All-Conference team.
Shippy ran around and through defenders for a team-leading 736 yards. Shippy also ran for seven scores and threw for one more in his sophomore season. Shippy finished with 70 tackles on the other side of the football, including 10 for loss which also lead the Cowboys.
Bertram was second on the team in tackles with 67, and finished with eight and half tackles for loss, along with a sack. Bertram also had two rushing touchdowns on the season.
